1970 Corgi Juniors Whizzwheels 11b Austin Healey Le Mans Sprite

1970 Corgi Juniors Whizzwheels 11b Austin Healey Le Mans Sprite. The model was available between 1970 and 1972 with four variants. This Corgi Juniors model was modelled on a batch of 10 special cars built for the Le Mans series between 1965 and 68. The Austin designation is somewhat erroneous, as whilst the car was based on the Austin Healey Sprite, they were built by the Healeys and featured MG components amongst others. The Corgi model came with a number of subtle changes, but most known examples are red with Yellow glazing and carry the number '50'.
