1982 Corgi Juniors 107 Austin Metro. Corgi launched their Juniors Metro model around the same time that the real car was launched in 1980, but while the real car continued in production into the 1990s, the Corgi model ended production in the mid 1980s. It was available in a range of liveries, some representing the basic Austin Metro, others the sportier MG Metro Turbo, and these often had racing liveries, although there was no change to the casting itself. The model was generally a good representation of the real car, however due to being a somewhat larger scale than most Juniors models, the wheels ended up looking too small, even allowing for the fact that Metros had smaller wheels than average at the time. Comparison with the real car suggests this is largely an illusion however.

This example was part of the Corgi Best of British range and was available between 1981 and 1983. It is good but playworn as shown.
